30 Minute Schezwan Noodles Recipe to Try at Home Now

Schezwan Noodles is a popular indo-chinese dish that is known for its explosion of flavors in mouth. These noodles are generally served with schezwan sauce that makes it fiercely spicy and hot. Its sizzling and tempting taste has made it one of the most loved dishes in the Indo Chinese menu.

So, if you love eating Chinese dishes, then no need to go to a restaurant, you can easily make this at home with just simple ingredients and an instant recipe.

• Julienne vegetables, like cabbage, carrots, beans and capsicum – 2 cups

Noodles (boiled and drained)

• Brown sugar – 1/2 tsp

• Peanut or sesame oil – 1 1/2 tbsps

• Schezwan sauce – 1 1/2 tbsps

• Chopped spring onions – 1/4 cup

• Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

• Soya sauce – 1/2 tsp

• Salt as required

For Schezwan Sauce

• Soy sauce – 1 tsp

• Grated ginger – 1 tsp

• Oil – 1 tbsp

• Chilli sauce – 1 1/2 tbsp

• Brown sugar – 1 1/2 tsps

• Dry red chilies – 12 [before use, soak the chilies in lukewarm water for about half an hour]

• Garlic cloves – 12

• Vinegar – 3 tsps

For Schezwan Sauce

• Grind the soaked red chilies with garlic and ginger. Make a fine paste. Make sure that the water is properly strained from the chilies.

• Heat oil and add the chili paste into it.

• Sauté the paste for about 4 minutes.

• Add red chili sauce and sauté.

• Add salt, soy sauce, water and sugar.

• Now add some vinegar and cook for few seconds.

The sauce is now ready. Let the sauce cool.

For Schezwan Noodles

• Heat sesame oil in a pan.

• Add spring onions and stir fry for about a minute.

• Now, add all the chopped vegetables. Let them cook for some time on high flame.

• Put some pepper powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix well.

• Add schewan sauce.

• Now, put the drained noodles in the pan and toss everything in the pan.

• Keep tossing for few seconds.
